Hello there, I'm Sam
I’m a documentary photographer inspired by love, light and laughter.
Being around people is what makes me tick and I really love my job.
I’m passionate about photography, art and books but most of all about making beautiful images.
A little background info on me… I grew up in a farmhouse on the Mendips where the wild weather and ever changing skies shaped my imagination. I have a degree in Illustration and lectured in Art & Photography alongside my photography for 7 years before going fully freelance in 2013. Since then I have been happily working as a photographer spending my time with amazing people, going to awesome places and documenting the most genuine and beautiful moments for a living. I am one lucky lady thats for sure.
I live in a little village called Shipham surrounded by beautiful countryside with my bike obsessed husband Tom and lovely sons Harris and Bern.
Looking back over my career I realise that I have always been a creative storyteller, but now I’m lucky enough capture moments and tell stories with my camera all the time.
